Lap fence panels are cheaper than featheredge fencing panels but will normally only last around 5 years. They easily bow in the wind and require immediate treatment to protect against the weather with further treatment every 1 to 2 years.

The timber in featheredge fence panels runs vertically making them a lot stronger and they will normally last 15 years or more. Not only that all featheredge fencing panels are pressure treated during manufacture so no treatment is necessary so if you are looking for zero maintenance you need featheredge fencing panels.

We also install a wide range of decorative fencing and trellis that can also be used to divide up areas of the garden to create interest.

We can install either timber posts or concrete posts and gravel boards (smooth or rock face).

We can also build timber gates to order. We measure the gap where the gate is to go, you choose the style of gate and we build and install the gate with fixings of your choice.

Our Shropshire fence installers have 23 years fencing experience so you can expect a quality job to be done. All fencing posts are sunken 2′ in the ground in solid concrete. We pay great attention to detail, ensuring that fencing panels are straight and where there is a drop in height, the drop is consistent through the run of panels.

Shropshire Fencing – Quality Timber Gates

There is a wide range of timber gates available that can be incorporated into your garden design.

We can supply a wide range of timber gates, any style or size.

Alternatively we can accurately measure the gap/space required and build a timber gate to your specification. We can build featheredge or tongue and groove gates. We use treated timber that is maintenance-free.

Our ready made and hand-made gates are often a lot stronger than the type you can buy from your local DIY store and will stand the test of time.
